Job description

Job Title: Vendor Invoicing Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a Vendor Invoicing Specialist to manage and code incoming invoices related to vendor management. You will ensure that invoices are directed to the correct directors and verify invoice data against purchase orders and contracts. This role involves communicating with C-suite level contacts in various countries to resolve invoicing issues and troubleshooting missing invoice information with clients. You will also collaborate with the payables team to ensure timely payment processing.

Responsibilities

  • Code incoming invoices related to vendor management and ensure they are directed to the correct directors.
  • Verify invoice data, including pricing, quantities, and discounts, against purchase orders and contracts.
  • Communicate with C-suite level contacts in various countries to resolve invoicing issues.
  • Troubleshoot missing invoice information with clients.
  • Work alongside the payables team to ensure timely payment processing.

Essential Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in a Business-Related field (Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, etc.).
  • Prior experience working within a corporate environment or office (internship-level or relevant work experience).
  • Invoice processing experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Previous payables experience is a plus.
  • Passion for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) is a plus.

Work Environment

This position is remote with some restrictions. You will need to be able to go into the headquarters during the first few weeks of the contract as needed for training. After the training period (1-2 weeks), you will be able to work from home, with a hybrid schedule of 2 days a week on-site. The candidate will be working alongside team members approximately 60% of the time and with another team 40% of the time.
