Purpose Of The Job

Our project aims to modernize and enhance digital banking services for millions of customers across Europe, providing secure, reliable, and seamless online banking experiences. Working the client product, you’ll contribute to building scalable systems and develop solutions that set new standards for efficiency and security in the financial industry.

Main Tasks And Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs to support various banking functionalities.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

Optimize application performance and ensure responsiveness and scalability of systems.

Conduct unit and integration testing to ensure code quality and system reliability.

Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade software to enhance functionality and user experience.

Create and maintain documentation for technical processes and codebase enhancements.

Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development best practices.

Education, Skills And Experience

MUST HAVE:

6+ years of experience in software development

Experience with Visual Basic 6

Strong knowledge of Object Oriented Programming

Strong SQL skills for managing databases, writing complex queries, and ensuring data accuracy and efficiency

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

Would Be a Plus

Experience would be beneficial:

Understanding of financial compliance standards like PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard), GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation), and ISO 27001.

Knowledge of accounting principles and experience in working with financial data.
