Role Overview:
We're in the midst of reengineering our outbound messaging platform and are seeking an experienced software engineer with a passion for scalable system design in a microservices framework. This fully remote role, available to candidates across North America, offers a chance to help build the industry's leading high-performance, feature-rich messaging platform.

Core Responsibilities:
In this role, the Staff Backend Engineer will design and build microservices in Go, utilizing MongoDB and other NoSQL databases within an AWS cloud infrastructure. A background in modern software development lifecycles (SDLC), particularly Agile methodologies, would be beneficial, along with expertise in creating scalable, adaptable systems that support evolving business requirements.

What We're Looking For:

• Experience: 8+ years in professional software development, including at least 5 years with Golang
• Leadership: Track record of successfully leading and delivering backend solutions end-to-end
• Tech Stack: AWS and NoSQL experience are both valuable assets
• Adaptability: Background in high-speed development settings with exposure to low-latency, high-throughput applications
• Mindset: Strong communicator, team-oriented, open to learning new technologies, and adaptable to change
