We’re looking for a new accounts associate to join our ranks in greater Cincinnati, Ohio! Does a fast-paced, process-oriented environment sound like just your thing? Is your attention to detail razor sharp? Can you multitask and manage different workflows? If so, this may be the perfect role for you! Our New Accounts team handles the establishment, review, and maintenance of a wide variety of account types and affiliation models. We’re often the first impression of Commonwealth for advisors and clients, as we work closely with them and other operational groups. We’re looking to build our team with the right candidate to help us provide indispensable service while having fun in the process!

 

Please note: This is a full-time opportunity, working either 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. EST or 10:00 a.m. 7:00 p.m. EST with a 60-minute lunch break.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing quality assurance for retirement and nonretirement new account applications and advisory fee-based contracts, ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Establishing brokerage accounts through physical and digital documents for existing and transitioning advisors
  • Managing and troubleshooting issues that arise with client checkwriting and debit card accounts
  • Processing a variety of account maintenance functions (i.e., dividend coding, beneficiary changes, power of attorney additions, consolidated statement requests)
  • Acting as a lifeline for our Service Center and handling complex questions from advisors
  • Performing numerous internal departmental audits to help reduce Commonwealth’s risk
  • Working on special projects as needed
