Reporting to the Marketing Department’s Director of Project Management - Creative, the Marketing Project Manager is responsible for coordinating the delivery of marketing materials at an operational level. The position is responsible for estimating development time, scheduling jobs, and moving projects through the various stages of creative development.
Every day, the project manager reviews job requests within the marketing organization, and utilizes the creative team’s project management software to assign resources and keep track of job status. This project manager is also responsible for preparing cost estimates, communicating project status and working with both internal and external resources to complete creative requests.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Review project requests
- Plan, organize and update production schedules
- Assign projects to copy, editorial and design teams
- Work with internal creative resources, freelancers and campaign managers to complete marketing requests
- Track and document project status daily
- Contribute to process and workflow improvements
- Provide project status reports to management
- Work with vendors to negotiate cost-effective purchasing of pre-press, custom printing, collateral printing and manufacturing services, as well as video production services
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and purchase orders
- Deliver finished materials to fulfillment vendors, which requires an understanding of pre-press
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Marketing or a related field
- 5 + years of experience
- Advanced knowledge of the print product process required (print specs, pre-press, etc.)
- Experience working on and with a large, cross-functional team
- PMI certification and/or experience with project management software such as Asana, WorkZone or WorkFront
- Familiarity with development and output of marketing assets such as digital media, social media, web pages, email, print and digital collateral, and video
- Understanding of marketing channels, platforms, and technical specifications
- A strong communicator, both verbally and in written form

- A problem solver who is skilled at resolving conflicts among different teams quickly and effectively. You’re flexible and adaptable, able to easily work with diverse teams, and you have a propensity to persevere
- An executor who will complete all tasks and support projects as needed. You’re a self-starter who will take initiative and always look for additional ways to lead your team to success
