Who are you?

 

The Benefits Administrator is responsible for all global employee benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, flexible spending, unemployment, disability, and retirement plans.  This role reports directly to the VP, Total Rewards. 

 

In this role you will wear many hats, but your knowledge will be essential in the following:  

  • The Benefits Administrator is responsible for all employee benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, flexible spending, unemployment, disability, and retirement plans.
  • Develop relationships and collaborate with external benefits providers to ensure high-quality compelling offerings and services.
  • Analyzing global benefit offerings recommending improvements to drive employee engagement & inclusive benefit offerings.
  • Own state and federal regulatory compliance filings, ensuring benefits and leave programs adhere to applicable laws.
  • Lead and manage benefits calendar, including open enrollment, communication, training sessions, educational campaigns, events, and virtual benefits fairs.
  • Provide information for benefit program management and development by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing employee benefits data to inform recommendations to improve policies and programs including benefits changes, leave of absence, and retirement plan offerings.
  • Collaborates with payroll to ensure 401(k) deductions and benefits are reconciled and accurate.
  • Performs regular financial reviews of benefit carrier billing to ensure the accuracy of invoices and enrollment compared to change files, vendor systems, inputs, and payroll.
  • Manages vendor relationships and analyzes vendor file feeds to resolve issues and ensure the timeliness of standard processes.
  • Supports internal and external audits of benefits programs.
  • Maintains standard operating procedures, process documentation, and service level agreements.
  • Provide day-to-day benefits support and address inquiries, assisting employees in navigating their benefits needs.
  • All other duties as assigned.

  • Bachelor's degree in HR or other related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of benefits or total rewards experience or equivalent combination of experience and training.
  • Experience with international benefits, payroll and HR systems.

  • Strong analytic and problem-solving skills, and organizational and project management skills.
  • Expert Proficiency with benefits administration software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

In compliance with all states and cities that require transparency of pay, the base compensation for this position ranges from 80,000 to 100,00. Note that salary may vary based on location, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for 10% target bonus as well as health, dental, vision, mental health and other benefits.
