Job description

Consultant - Business Strategy & Management (Contract)

About the Role

Brightline brings behavioral and mental health care to families, when and where they need it. You have the exciting opportunity to be a critical part in advancing the Brightline model from virtual-only to hybrid virtual/brick and mortar, launching next year.

Brightline is seeking a Senior Consultant with the skills in program management and executive facilitation to successfully drive the standup of this new business model alongside our Executive Leadership Team. Reporting to the CEO, the ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-driven individual who thrives as a thought partner to executives building business plans in green spaces. Comfort forming strong rapport with the C-suite and communicating with executive presence are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

New Business Launch:

  • Lead the overarching business planning for our pivot to a hybrid business model, and hold our executive team accountable to execution. Our goal is to launch three new clinics and a multi-channel, geo-targeted member acquisition strategy in the upcoming year.

  • Create a structured approach by leading the drumbeat of progress across all of our defined workstreams, each of which is owned by a designated ELT member.

  • Partner closely with ELT members responsible for each workstream, facilitating effective weekly working group meetings that drive key decisions forward towards our ultimate objectives.

  • Define weekly agenda for deep dive conversations with the CEO and an executive Steering Committee to share new learnings, shape strategic thinking, and translate that early ideation into workstream planning and decisions

Project Management and Coordination:

  • Establish and manage timelines, key milestones, and dependencies across ELT and their supporting Leadership Team members to ensure project alignment and timely execution.

  • Proactively identify how project decisions impact cross-functional teams and adjust plans accordingly to optimize coordination and reduce potential conflicts.

  • Manage and continue to enhance our use of Smartsheet as the primary tool for project tracking, including scorecards and dashboards to visualize progress.

Stakeholder Communication and Reporting:

  • Support the internal communication cascade to keep the Leadership Team and full company updated on the progress of new business initiatives at an appropriate altitude.

  • Facilitate smooth cross-functional alignment by attending all workstream meetings, providing insights, and ensuring transparency on progress.

Why We Are Excited About You:
  • 6+ years of experience in executive facilitation and program or project management, with a proven ability to lead and oversee end-to-end business strategy and delivery.

  • High level of comfort engaging with and supporting senior executives, particularly in a digital health or healthcare setting.

  • Ability to communicate effectively at the senior leadership level, driving diverse groups of executives towards decision alignment and common goals.

  • Demonstrated experience in identifying and using data and metrics to evaluate project success and identify areas for improvement.

  • Skilled in managing program strategy from inception through to completion and effectively communicating results and progress to senior leadership.

  • Strong background in continuous performance improvement and adept at applying change management methodologies to drive successful outcomes.

  • Proficiency in Smartsheet or similar project management software for tracking and reporting.

Total Compensation
  • The initial phase of this project is a 6 month full-time contract.

  • If successful, there may be an option for the contract to be extended to support the maintenance of this initiative.
