The Role
// Join our dynamic team at Masabi as we expand into new regions and develop innovative functionality. Our testing team ensures the quality and reliability of Masabi's core functionality, collaborating closely with product and development teams to devise and implement robust test strategies.
We're seeking an experienced QA Engineer proficient in manual and automated testing to drive continuous improvement in our testing processes.
Responsibilities
Develop comprehensive test plans and procedures in collaboration with Masabi's end-to-end testing team and Launch Operations functions for new feature releases
Maintain and manage documentation tracing customer requirements
Conduct end-to-end testing for the Justride platform and related technology partners, working closely with internal testing teams
Collaborate with engineering delivery teams to tailor documentation and test plans to meet customer requirements
Conduct testing phases such as User Acceptance Test and report defects and requirements' suitability to customers, engineering, and deployment services team leads
Verify and document outputs from all testing phases, supporting launch readiness decisions
Conduct test reviews with agency stakeholders, incorporating customer-specific protocols and procedures
Create standard test protocols and plans for Masabi's account-based ticketing deployments for reuse
Establish quality metrics and baselines for deployment measurement and new platform updates
Work closely with product management to understand new features and translate them into test use cases for customer scenarios
Collaborate with Masabi Launch Operations for post-release testing, customer feedback, and defect communication
Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities to meet project timelines and objectives
Work closely with Launch Operations team gaps in automating manual test plans and advocate for comprehensive end-to-end testing
Demonstrate a willingness to support teammates, share knowledge, and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement
There will be limited travel to client places for conducting/supporting UAT testing
About You
Bring strong manual and automated testing experience in complex systems
Experience in test automation skills and knowledge of automated test tools for mobile and web applications
Demonstrate experience in developing comprehensive test strategies and test cases for cross-functional features in complex environments
Proven track record of implementing end-to-end QA/testing processes, documenting them effectively, and driving continuous improvement
Possess the ability to provide detailed defect metrics and suggest strategies to enhance quality
Experience collaborating effectively with engineers on testing features and advocating for QA processes
Exhibit outstanding communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts and uncover the root cause of complex issues
Skilled in using test management tools like TestRail, Zephyr, or PractiTest, with essential experience in Jira and familiarity with source code management tools like GitLab
A collaborative team player who consistently goes above and beyond to achieve team goals
Exceptional communication skills, capable of fostering trust and rapport with customers
Proficient in crafting clear and concise documents and reports
Cross-browser testing experience
Experience in validating APIs using tools like Postman
Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle
Demonstrate proficiency in debugging logs using browser and mobile application developer tools
