Main Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to provide critical support to our insurance broking and underwriting teams as they work towards departmental goals, including client satisfaction and outcomes, Gross Written Premium (GWP) targets, underwriting profit, broker relationship management, and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist brokers and underwriters with administrative tasks, such as renewal invitations, document preparation, and updating client information.
  • Pre-populate rating models and assist in the preparation of policy documentation.
  • Importing and downloading renewal terms and inputting new business opportunities into broking systems
  • Finalise policy documents, including invoicing, certificates, and policy wording.
  • Participate in compliance processes, including Anti-Money Laundering (AML) requirements, and maintain accurate records.
  • Keep claims registers up-to-date, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Respond to broker inquiries, providing certificates, claims histories, and other requested information as needed.

Knowledge and Skills Required

  • Previous experience in the insurance industry is essential.
  • Tier 1 and 2 qualifications are preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; advanced IT skills are advantageous.
