We’re looking for a skilled and  enthusiastic Copywriter to join our internal brand design team to help craft our voice, delight our users, and build a global brand that resonates deeply with our community . Our ideal candidate understands how to build and evolve a brand tone of voice, and is skilled at writing clear, thoughtful, and compelling copy that enriches our marketing creative - including branded content, lifecycle communications, product and feature storytelling, organic social, and promotional efforts. 

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Writing clear and thoughtful copy that enriches our marketing creative, branded content, lifecycle communications, product and feature storytelling, organic social, and promotional efforts 
  • Working closely with design, marketing, product, and cross functional teams to solve user and business needs with consistent, insightful content that drives engagement and brand love
  • Testing and iterating on tone and brand voice positioning approaches
  • Managing projects independently, keeping stakeholders in the loop throughout
  • Leveraging and contributing to our evolving voice and tone guidelines
  • Working quickly and effectively across multiple projects at once

  • Requirements:
  • 3-4 years of professional writing experience in advertising or brand marketing - preferably within a highly collaborative in-house creative organization
  • Portfolio with real-world examples of customer-facing content — and the ability to articulate your process, challenges, and learnings
  • Demonstrated ability to generate insightful, clever, and relevant copy for a variety of audiences
  • Demonstrated ability to craft a compelling and unique creative concept and carry that idea across a variety of different channels
  • Experience writing product marketing copy that clearly articulates features, benefits, reasons to believe, and drives audiences to convert
  • Ability to embody and continually develop a  brand voice and execute appropriately across channels
  • Skill for incorporating various stakeholder feedback to produce copy that meets both customer and business needs
  • Self-motivation and comfort working on fast-paced and sometimes ambiguous projects
  • Passion for the outdoors
  • Humility, empathy, and open-mindedness (no egos)

  • Bonus Points:
  • Experience with product marketing for a digitally native app or platform
  • Experience collaborating with research and copy testing
  • Experience writing for global audiences with a translation-first approach
  • Experience in SEO and/or writing for accessibility
  • Experience in a fast-paced remote work environment
  • Familiarity with design tools like Figma
