The software developer plays a crucial role in supporting complex, multi-disciplinary data center projects by leveraging programming expertise and organizational skills. The main responsibility of this position is to define, develop, and maintain knowledge management applications. This involves hands-on programming of knowledge management solutions, collaborating with the Senior Technical Project Manager to meet internal customer requirements, and managing the entire lifecycle of applications and tools.
The ideal candidate will have extensive software development knowledge, excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong collaboration abilities, hands-on programming experience, and the capacity to self-manage and stay motivated. They should also be adept at quickly adapting to new business and technical environments, and proficient in learning and utilizing new technologies and platforms with minimal supervision and training.
Key Responsibilities:
Solutions Development
- Actively engage in the programming of Knowledge Management solutions.
- Plan, develop, test, and deploy solutions for internal KM clients.
- Manage competing priorities and constraints to deliver optimal products.
- Conduct requirements gathering and maintain project oversight.
Coordination
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including customers/users, other developers, subject matter experts, technical writers, and trainers, to create comprehensive systems.
- Quickly adapt to new environments and information, both business and technical, and effectively utilize new technologies and platforms with minimal supervision and training.
Requirements5+ years of experience as an individual developer and/or architectAutodesk experience - including hands on experience with BIM 360 API and ACC, with Forge APIExperience with owning projects from start to finishExperience developing large scale technical solutions in a rapidly changing environmentExperience with problem-solving in a remote environment with limited oversight
