Position Description:
As a Product Marketing Manager at KPA, you will be responsible for overseeing the automotive compliance portfolio, inclusive of consulting, software, and training solutions covering all areas of dealership compliance. You will work to enhance KPA's competitive positioning through market research, customer insights, and the creation of innovative messaging. You will also collaborate with sales and marketing teams to drive enablement, develop launch strategies and marketing programs to achieve sales and growth objectives within the automotive market. You will gather insights from client interviews and industry events to develop case studies and inform the product roadmap.

This role requires an individual with full-stack product marketing experience, leadership through indirect influence, a passion for organizing revenue enhancing initiatives, and creativity while operating within a complex industry. The successful candidate will also demonstrate strong strategic thinking, charisma, and the ability to create and measure impactful messaging and programs that resonate with a unique customer base within the industry. A strong interest and/or experience in the automotive industry or compliance and RegTech is preferred.

This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic, mission-driven software sector. You will work alongside industry experts and be part of a company that values client-success, iterative, obtainable growth, and cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities:
  • Competitive Intelligence & Competitive Analysis: Conduct ongoing market research and analysis to understand the competitive landscape, identify trends, and assess client needs. Stay ahead of competitors by developing and refining KPA's product positioning.
  • Sales Enablement & Organization: Develop compelling messaging, sales tools, and resources that empower the sales team to effectively communicate the value of KPA’s automotive compliance solutions. Regularly review and optimize the sales process for efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Launch Strategy: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, sales, marketing, consulting) to develop go-to-market strategies for new product releases and updates. Ensure a seamless launch process with measurable impact.
  • Creative Campaign Strategy: Work with the marketing team to develop innovative, multi-channel marketing campaign concepts that drive demand and increase product awareness. Track performance and adjust strategies based on data and ROI metrics.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Serve as a thought leader for the automotive compliance product suite, offering expertise to internal teams and external partners. Build relationships across departments to ensure alignment on product and market strategies.
  • Client Research & Roadmap Guidance: Conduct client interviews, attend industry events, and gather insights to inform the product roadmap and ensure KPA's solutions meet current and future market needs.

  • Requirements:
  • 4+ years of product marketing experience, with 1+ years in a market-facing role.
  • Proven experience in competitive intelligence, market research, launch strategy, messaging, and customer insights.
  • Strong understanding or desire to work within the automotive or compliance space (or related industries) is highly preferred.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Experience working with project management software in a team environment is preferred.
  • Ability to think creatively and strategically, with a talent for developing compelling product messaging and reporting/experimenting for maximum effectiveness.

  • Proficiency with productivity and reporting tools and experience in Salesforce, Hubspot, ClickUp, Chorus, Figma, Adobe InDesign and more.

  • Success Criteria:
  • Strong analytical mindset with a focus on ROI and data-driven decision making.
  • Adaptability in a fast-paced, evolving environment with multiple stakeholders.
