Job description

We are looking for a highly skilled senior product designer to come join us and lead our design team to build the best experience for our customers. This is both leadership and execution role and you

will have the freedom to do the best work of your life.

What is the Role?

Role Responsibilities

Design and build experiences for the data teams which will make their day to day work great. We expect our customers to spend a lot of time on the product and making it enjoyable is a top priority.

Put together a design systems that will help 5X to stand out in our journey to become part of every data teams life. A living design system that will keep pushing the boundary of the philosophy - “simple but superb”.

Align the design language across all the teams within the company so that we can show the same brand value for all customer touch points.

Work closely with Engineering to deliver the product experience which delivers beyond customer expectation.

Collaborate with PM, Marketing and Research to be the leader of design and keep enforcing the customer viewpoint within the product design.

Keep expanding our design system and philosophy so that we can keep improving every day.

Mentor junior product designers and enable them to grow as product designers.

Establish a strong and collaborative design practice and become advocate for product design within the company.

Be the link between 5X and larger design community so that we can be part of the conversation.

Requirements

6 years of experience as product designer in a B2B SaaS product.

Preferably exposed to data tools domain and familiarity with modern data stack.

Deep knowledge in product design with the ability to blow the mind of customers and team mates with UI/UX skills and product skills.

Ability to communicate, influence and enable 5X organisation as well as our customers. Be the voice of customers by building design system that solve their core problems.

Ability to work closely with engineering team and lead execution as product lead. You will be the true customer representative within the team.

Visual design experience demonstrated through mockups, demo projects and casual endeavours.

This is a remote role based out in India open for Indian citizens.
