The Program Manager will be responsible for overseeing multiple projects, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, and delivering impactful results across various business units. This role combines project management expertise with analytical capabilities, enabling the candidate to guide teams effectively, make data-driven decisions, and continuously improve processes. This role requires a combination of technical expertise and program management skills to manage complex software development projects, ensuring timely delivery of solutions that meet quality standards and align with business objectives. The successful candidate will have a strong engineering background and be able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

Program & Project Management:

  • Plan, initiate, and manage cross-functional projects, aligning with organizational goals and timelines.
  • Develop detailed project plans, set objectives, determine project scope, and ensure timely completion.
  • Allocate resources, manage budgets, and coordinate with teams across departments to meet project milestones.
  • Identify potential project risks and implement strategies to mitigate them.

 

Business Analysis:

  • Conduct research and analyze data to understand business processes, identify gaps, and recommend improvements.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, translating them into clear, actionable plans.
  • Develop business cases and assist in prioritizing project initiatives based on strategic impact and resource availability.

 

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Serve as a bridge between business teams and IT, ensuring effective communication and alignment on project goals.
  • Facilitate meetings, workshops, and presentations to gather input and keep stakeholders informed of project progress.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and provide updates on key performance indicators and project health.

 

Process Improvement:

  • Review and analyze current business processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Recommend and implement process optimization techniques, using data analysis and industry best practices.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, including project plans, reports, process maps, and training materials.

 

Performance Monitoring & Reporting:

  • Establish metrics to monitor the success of programs and projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Create and present reports and dashboards to provide visibility into project status, progress, and outcomes.
  • Analyze project data to identify trends, track KPIs, and inform decision-making.

 

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

 

Experience: 

  • 10+ years IT Program Management experience
  • 7+ years of experience leading tasks of a similar size/scope

 

Certifications:

  • PMP
