East West Tea is seeking a talented, passionate, and experienced Distribution Analyst to join our Logistics team to optimize our supply chain and distribution operations.
The Distribution Analyst will join our operations team to play a critical role in optimizing our supply chain and distribution operations by analyzing data, monitoring inventory levels, and identifying opportunities for efficiency and sustainability improvements.

WHAT YOU’LL OWN:
Data Analytics and Reporting 40% of time
• Collect, analyze, and interpret distribution and inventory data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for cost savings.
• Generate and maintain regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as inventory turnover, order accuracy, on-time delivery, inventory health and transportation costs.
• Utilize ERP and supply chain management systems to manage data, monitor inventory levels, and support distribution planning efforts.
Inventory and Distribution Management 40% of time
• Assist in the development and execution of distribution strategies, including route optimization, transportation carriers and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and resolve any issues that may arise.

Continuous Improvement and Collaboration 20% of time
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs within the distribution network.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including logistics, procurement, sales, and finance, to ensure seamless distribution operations.
• Support new products, new customers and strategic initiatives with logistics and distribution solutions.
WHAT YOU KNOW AND HAVE EXPERIENCED:
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business, or a related industry certification specific to the role
• Proficiency in data analysis or forecasting techniques
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in business analytics within distribution, supply chain, logistics, or a similar analytical role within a CPG or retail environment.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI) and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• 1-2 years in TMS software such as Freightview or Blujay
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Working knowledge of Continuous Improvement and Lean Principles.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of supply chain principles, inventory management, and demand forecasting.
• Familiarity with distribution and transportation processes and best practices.
