Job Description

As a Junior Bookkeeper, you’ll be at the forefront of financial operations for an established natural cosmetics brand. You’ll handle crucial tasks that keep the business running smoothly, from invoice processing to expense management. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a company that values sustainability and natural products while gaining experience with UK-based accounting practices and major global retailers.

Responsibilities
  • Process supplier invoices and manage supplier inquiries
  • Reconcile employee expenses monthly
  • Handle credit card processing and reconciliation
  • Post commercial invoices to customer portals for major retailers
  • Support statement reconciliations
  • Assist with fixed asset and intangible asset ledger reconciliations
  • Perform general bookkeeping duties using Sage 200 software


Requirements
  • Experience with Sage 200 accounting software is a must
  • Strong attention to detail and data entry accuracy
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • Self-motivated with effective time management skills
  • Understanding of basic accounting principles and practices
  • Familiarity with UK accounting standards (preferred)
  • Ability to work remotely and collaborate with a UK-based finance team
