Introduction

I’m the Engineering Manager of one of our 4 core software engineering teams here at CoachHub. Here, my role is making sure you and the rest of the team have all the necessary conditions to thrive and are able to continue growing as an engineer while seamlessly producing great code.

Our team is remote first and we are mostly distributed through Germany and Spain. We are looking to expand it with a Senior FullStack Engineer who is agile while keeping a focus on quality, and enjoys working in a remote environment with the possibility of mentoring more junior peers.

In our mission of democratizing coaching, we are currently focused on making sure the experience for both coaches and coachees navigating through our new coaching programs is as smooth as possible.

CoachHub is a diverse company with a remote-first and flexible culture. In our team, we use Scrum and try to combine synchronous and asynchronous ways of working to ensure a dynamic collaboration while making sure everybody feels represented on their ways of working. Quality is very important to us, so we strive to deliver incremental pieces of work that allow us to reduce time to market without sacrificing testing.

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining both frontend and backend components of different web applications.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement user-friendly and responsive frontend interfaces using modern web technologies.

• Develop server-side logic, database schemas, and APIs to support frontend functionality.

• Collaborate with product managers, and other developers to understand project requirements.

• Identify and address technical challenges to deliver effective and scalable solutions.

• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code for both frontend and backend components.

• Author and review PRs using Github

• Ensure the reliability and quality of the developed software.

Requirements:

• Significant and proven experience in full stack development roles.

• Experience working as Frontend developer with React, Redux

• Experience working as Backend developer with NestJs, Django/FastAPI/Flask

• Knowledge of Microservices and serverless.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

The location of the position is not necessarily Berlin. You can be located (almost) anywhere in the Central European Time Zone
