Systems Engineer Expert

HOW A SYSTEMS ENGINEER EXPERT WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
- Lead engineering and implementation of integrated toolchain-based capabilities in our Lab and support technical insertion of IT Enterprise Solutions that are tailored for use in customer Mission IT Environments.
- Lean in and directly support program teams with unique project strategy, toolchain implementation approach, and troubleshooting needs.
- Work with various leading AI/ML-enabled tool vendors in the IT Operations marketplace, including ScienceLogic, Tanium, Splunk, Tenable, Dynatrace, ServiceNow, VMware, and others, to research and identify solution capabilities that fit customer requirements and align with new and evolving standards in the AIOPS space.
- Engage hands on keyboard to create new integrations and capabilities to meet dynamic demonstration and mission-specific use case scenarios that help customers understand the value of the AIOPS solutions for their mission.
- Support the development of demonstration work products, including PowerPoint slides, narrated videos, graphics, HTLM and marketing materials to inspire our customers about mission possibilities by leveraging unique GDIT capabilities to meet mission requirements.
- Act as the conduit for connecting tailored GDIT Enterprise IT Automation capabilities to specific and unique requirements of the customer to positively shape final requirements for the related contract opportunities.
- Integrate with our Solutioning Team, System Engineering Team, and ITSM Factory team to bring the best of our solutions to the customer before the proposal.
- Bring forward your passion for technology used within the Enterprise IT space and advance our team's efforts to broaden our team’s impact on customer missions across the Government Marketplace.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
- Education: Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business-related field
- Required Experience: 10 years+ of progressive technical implementation, team leadership, and customer relationship experience.
- Desired Technical Skills: Demonstrated technical knowledge and experience in automation solutions relevant in the IT Enterprise, such as Modular Open Systems Architecture, API-based toolchain integration, HTML, Data Model Design for IT Operations Data, ITSM platform development and configuration experience. Experience with tools such as ScienceLogic, Tanium, Splunk, Tenable, Dynatrace, ServiceNow, VMware is highly desirable.
- Desired Training/Certifications: Microsoft Office, VDI, Operating Systems, Cloud, Monitoring, ITSM, Cyber Security, Integrations, and Automations.
- Security Clearance Level: Public Trust
- Required Skills and Abilities: Strong communication, analytical, and time management skills that enable innovative design and technical thought leadership in a rapidly evolving business environment.
- Preferred Skills: Experience working with Government Customers.

The likely salary range for this position is $153,000 - $207,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
