The Job:  

As a International Tax Manager, you’ll be part of our Finance International Tax team working as a remote employee.    You’ll get to:  

  • Support implementation of a Pillar II Calculation Engine software package.
  • Support implementation and ongoing maintenance of a Legal Entity Management tool including upkeep of the Global Structure Organization chart.
  • Materially participate in Pillar II preparation including assisting where needed on quarterly safe harbor calculations, applicable IIR, QDMTT and UTPR calculations and related compliance quarterly under ASC 740.
  • Additional resource needed to support the International Tax team in monitoring U.S. and global tax legislative developments and assisting in strategic tax planning initiatives to mitigate the impact of global tax legislation.
  • Performing and supporting extensive compliance computations required under Pillar II for the annual Globe Information Return.
  • Support and assist with future audits of Pillar II.
  • Support the general function for all aspects of U.S. tax compliance and financial reporting as it pertains to the international operations
  • Assist with various assigned projects, including research and planning for specific issues, the structuring, planning and approval process of international reorganizations/ acquisitions or dispositions as needed along with the preparation of any related elections & disclosures for compliance.
  • Assist the Tax Reporting function with calculations required under ASC 740 relating to international operations, including calculation of non-US entities’ tax provisions, analysis of current and deferred taxes, tax account reconciliations, other effective tax rate items, Pillar II implications and tax-related disclosures.
  • Manage, lead, mentor and develop internal staff resources as the Tax Department and Pillar II functions grow.

  • Have a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting with a preference for an advanced degree in taxation.
  • Have a CPA certificate or be working toward a CPA, but not required.
  • Prior experience or training in Pillar II preferred but not required.
  • Have strong accounting and tax technical skills.
  • Have 5-8 years of international tax experience either in industry or with a public accounting firm.
  • Have strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a deadline driven environment.
  • Be proficient with Excel, Word and Powerpoint. Experience with CorpTax, Thomson Reuters ONESURCE, Orbitax, Diligent Entities and enterprise software such as SAP or Hyperion is highly desirable, but not required.
  • Be effective working independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Significant experience managing both people and projects.
