Project Role Description : Provide ongoing technical support and maintenance of production and development systems and software products (both remote and onsite) and for configured services running on various platforms (operating within a defined operating model and processes). Provide hardware/software support and implement technology at the operating system-level across all server and network areas, and for particular software solutions/vendors/brands. Work includes L1 and L2/ basic and intermediate level troubleshooting.

Azure Virtual Desktop administrator responsibilities include planning, deploying, packaging, updating, and maintaining the Azure Virtual Desktop infrastructure. They also create session host images, implement, and manage FSLogix, monitor Azure Virtual Desktop performance, and automate Azure Virtual Desktop management tasks.
Azure Virtual Desktop administrators should also have an experience on operating systems, virtualization, cloud infrastructure, storage structures, and networking.

Knowledge on working of Azure Virtual Desktop components
Manage Azure Virtual Desktop session hosts by using Azure Bastion
Configure storage for FSLogix components
Creation of File shares
Create and manage session host images
Implement Azure roles and role-based access control (RBAC) for Azure Virtual Desktop
Implement networking for Azure Virtual Desktop
Configure Profile Containers
MSIX app attach
Configure user Azure Virtual Desktop experience settings
Creation of Personal and pooled desktops
Creation of Resource Groups and Workspaces
Autoscaling
Install and configure apps on a session host
Azure AD Connect for user identities
Configuration of WVD client
FSLOGIX application masking
Monitor and manage Azure Virtual Desktop performance
Technical Experience:
Minimum of 6+ years of strong experience doing real-world work as a Azure Virtual Desktop Engineer
Windows Virtual Desktop experience, to deploy and manage virtual desktops and applications.
Experience with automation on Azure CLI, PowerShell, for simplifying the tasks
Experience configuring / managing Azure IaaS & PaaS technologies
Good understanding of network connectivity in Azure
Experience with on-prem to cloud VDI replication and DR strategies - Azure Site Recovery, etc
Experience with Azure Active Directory example., Group Policy Design & Architecture
Hands on experience with VM Sizing, performance monitoring and alerting of AVD’s
Knowledge on Hybrid Identity with Azure Active Directory
Knowledge on Azure DevOps and Terraform for. of Host pools, Storage accounts, Azure Monitoring
Professional Attributes:
Take part in 24x7 Shift rotations including Morning, Evening and Night Shifts.
Work out of hours, evenings, nights, weekends, bank holidays at reasonable request to perform production changes.
Travel to other locations when required.
Able to work from home occasionally.
Be flexible to work with other platforms.
Improve the Knowledge in different and latest technologies.
