Position Overview:
As the Locums Workforce Management Director, you will lead our strategic partnerships with Managed Services Providers (MSP) and Management Groups. You will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of our staffing programs across multiple locations, driving operational excellence, and fostering high-trust relationships with key stakeholders. Your expertise in VMS technology will be pivotal in optimizing our service delivery model.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Transition & Implementation:

  • Serve as the subject matter expert and key stakeholder in client onboarding, ensuring smooth implementation of MSP/VMS systems.
  • Coordinate training and support to enhance the client and agency user experience.

Day-to-Day Operations Management:

  • Oversee daily operations of client services, ensuring compliance and quality across multiple sites and suppliers.
  • Develop relationships with C-suite leaders and key decision-makers, driving program evolution aligned with client needs.

Leadership & Team Development:

  • Lead a team of account managers and service delivery professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance.
  • Provide training, oversight, and support to ensure team success and client satisfaction.

Program Administration & Reporting:

  • Manage financial performance metrics and prepare detailed reports for clients.
  • Conduct Quality Business Reviews (QBRs) to assess program performance and identify areas for improvement.

Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and suppliers, facilitating communication and conflict resolution.
  • Identify opportunities for program expansion and enhancement to meet evolving client needs.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices, leveraging insights to drive program enhancements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop new functionalities for the VMS technology platform.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Associate or bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years in healthcare staffing, with a focus on locum tenens or physician management preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
    • Excellent communication, organizational, and conflict resolution skills.
    • Proficient in VMS technology and data analysis.
    • Ability to travel up to 40% to meet clients and attend industry events.
