Electric Power Engineers, (EPE) is searching for a Director responsible for leading and providing expert oversight for the delivery of NERC Program Management Business.

 

 

 

How you can make an impact:

  • Provide leadership oversight for NERC Program Management, overseeing program solutions, policies and processes.
  • Monitor NERC and regional Reliability Standards under development and communicate updates and necessary program changes to affected subject matter experts.
  • Develop, mentor and grow the team by ensuring team has best-in-class technical talent to innovate, help win business and solve challenging problems.
  • Assign, monitor and coordinate the workload of the resources in the NERC Program Management, Line of Business.
  • Provide staffing forecasts and participate in all hiring activities.
  • Ensure revenue goals are met on a quarterly basis as well as annual basis.
  • Lead and write proposals including but not limited to proposals, scope of work, budgets/bids, timelines and contracts.
  • Develop company’s yearly budget goals and pipeline management for NERC Program Management.
  • Leverage industry connections to foster client and firm success by developing business development opportunities and solutions, strengthening existing products/services, identifying new products/services, and define vision, strategy, and roadmap for growth
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) in industry forums, such as conferences, workshops and publications to promote EPE’s vision while keeping abreast of trends and issues related to NERC compliance programs.
Qualifications:

Bring your passion, here's what’s needed:

  • 12+ years working experience in a Reliability Compliance field with an emphasis on NERC Reliability Standard for an electric utility, ISO, NERC, FERC, or similarly structured or related regulatory body
  • 5+ years in a management or leadership role
  • Excellent leadership and project management skills.
  • Complete understanding of regulations and policies pertaining to the NERC Compliance Program.
  • Proficiency in the NERC Reliability Standards across both O&P and CI
  • Proficiency in the NERC Registration framework and processes, including Inverter-Based Resources
  • Ability to communicate well-organized, effective solutions and presentations to client and internal executives
