Technical Sales Engineer - EMEA
Location: Remote, EMEA (with International Travel)
Division: Molten Metal Systems (MMS)
We are looking for a skilled Technical Field Sales Engineer to join our growing team and drive the expansion of our foundry product sales in the EMEA region. You’ll be responsible for both new business development and managing existing accounts while providing technical solutions on-site. Our products, manufactured in Germany, China, and India, are world-class, and we need a talented individual to help bring them to a wider customer base.
Responsibilities:
What You’ll Do:
- Develop new customer relationships across Western Europe, ensuring our product offerings meet their needs and expectations.
- Provide hands-on application support, including product installations and troubleshooting at customer locations.
- Manage ongoing relationships with existing customers, working to provide continuous value and identifying opportunities to expand our footprint.
- Use your technical knowledge to offer expert advice on the correct usage and benefits of our crucibles and foundry products.
- Achieve sales targets by promoting and delivering our foundry solutions in international markets.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including production sites in Germany, China, and India, to ensure customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
What You’ll Bring:
- 50% technical background in production and application of crucibles and foundry products, e.g. university degree in Metallurgical / Mechanical Engineering / Ceramic Engineering or comparable qualification
- 50% commercial background in marketing and selling, e.g. working experience as sales / commercial manager
- Excellent communication- and presentation skills both internal and external
- Aptitude for teaching and learning as the job requires training of our partners and internal team members
- Resilient and selfmotivated
- Fluency in English and at least one other European language
- Experience in delivering hands-on, on-site technical support and installations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex technical solutions.
- Ability work successfully while travel internationally, up to 50% of the time.
