Job description

The Senior Program Manager will lead a government contract within the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), supervising a team of contractors. The Senior P.M. will help lead the organization's strategic objectives, working closely with senior executives within the Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA).

Manage and provide oversight for a team of contractors and their projects. Lead development of project schedule.
Ensure government requirements in the Performance Work Statement (PWS) are met.
Monitor and report on contract financials.
Conduct detailed analysis and research to support organizational initiatives and decision-making processes.
Develop and present high-quality presentation decks for senior executives within VBA, ensuring clarity and professionalism.
Communicate effectively with senior executives, creating reports, and memos, and delivering verbal presentations.
Conduct business analysis to identify opportunities for process improvements and enhanced efficiency.
Develop and maintain business intelligence dashboards to support data-driven decision-making.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data, analyze trends, and provide actionable recommendations.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices in project management, business analysis, and evidence-based policymaking.
