Description

We are seeking a motivated IT Support Technician to join our team. This position is ideal for someone with a solid foundation in technical support, looking to grow as our company expands. The IT Support Technician is a crucial role in ensuring our employees have the technology tools and support they need to succeed. You will report to the Manager of Information Technology. This position is a hybrid role with at least 3 days a week onsite per week. 


Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office/O365 applications to employees in person, over the phone, or via email or chat
  • Troubleshoot and resolve common user support issues, including VPN connectivity and password resets.
  • Configure hardware and software for new employee laptops and upgrades to existing equipment.
  • Oversee shipping and receipt of hardware to remote employees 
  • Assist users through remote management tools.
  • Familiarize and manage group policies to enforce the information security platform. 
  • Maintain a positive and effective working relationship with end-users.
  • Document technical procedures and solutions in collaboration with the Manager of Information Technology.



Requirements
  • At least 1 year of prior experience in a technical support position.
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office/O365, and general IT troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Remote Management / Monitoring software. 
  • Familiarity with group policies and VPN configurations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with users.


What is the work environment? 

  • This job routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, etc. 
  • This position is required to be in our office at least 3 days a week and as needed. 
  • Because you will be handling confidential client information, you must work from your designated home office or our office in Frazer, PA. You cannot work in a public location. 
  • Computer and VPN access are provided. Employee must provide their own internet access. 
  • This position's hours will be Monday through Friday 9am to 5pm ET.
