Job Description:

Embark on an exciting data entry project that will directly impact the success of a cutting-edge e-commerce platform. You’ll play a crucial role in bringing a comprehensive catalog of specialized screws to life online. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience with e-commerce operations and product management. Your attention to detail and efficiency will enhance the company’s online presence and improve customer experience. This short-term, high-impact project is perfect for detail-oriented individuals looking to make a significant contribution to an e-commerce business.

Job Highlights:

• 40 hours per week
• Permanent work from home
• Schedule: Monday to Friday 9AM to 6PM UK time (can be flexible in the future)
• Client Timezone: BST (UK)


Responsibilities:

• Transfer detailed product information from Excel spreadsheets to the e-commerce platform
• Input precise specifications for each screw variant, including size, length, and technical details
• Ensure data accuracy, matching product names and specifications exactly
• Navigate efficiently between spreadsheets and the e-commerce backend
• Maintain high productivity to meet project timelines
• Convert complex product tables into individual, search-optimized entries
• Contribute to improving the website’s searchability and user experience



Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data entry
• Sharp eye for detail and commitment to accuracy
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently on repetitive tasks
• Basic understanding of e-commerce platforms and product catalogs
• Typing speed of at least 50 WPM
• Ability to commit full-time for the project duration (estimated 4-6 weeks)
• Experience with or interest in hardware products is a plus
• Comfortable handling a high volume of entries (approximately 7,000 product entries)
