The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities:

Write timely and engaging articles covering the IndyCar series, including race previews, recaps, driver profiles, and news updates.
Conduct interviews with drivers, team members, and industry experts to provide unique insights and perspectives.
Stay updated with the latest news and developments in IndyCar to create accurate, relevant, and well-researched content.
Collaborate with the editorial team to develop content strategies that align with audience interests and current trends.
Optimize content for SEO to improve search visibility and drive traffic.
Promote published articles across social media platforms to enhance engagement and reach.

Requirements

Proven experience in sports writing, particularly motorsports or IndyCar coverage.
Strong research, writing, and editing skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple articles simultaneously.
Familiarity with SEO practices and social media platforms.
Excellent interpersonal skills for conducting interviews and collaborating with team members.
A degree in journalism, communications, or a related field is preferred but not required.
