What You Will Do:
Demonstrates proven thorough knowledge of the capital project lifecycle (planning through maintenance and operations), and a proven record of success in individual contributor and leadership roles for active capital projects. Specifically, this individual has a proven successful record of having supported or led one or more of the following areas:
- Project governance, e.g. organizational and process aspects
- Risk management and analysis, e.g. risk register, quantitative (probabilistic) risk modeling, root cause analysis, issue management, prudency reviews
- Construction project management and controls, e.g. schedule control, cost control (budget, accruals, forecasts), earned value, change management
- Complex schedule analytics, e.g. critical path method (CPM), float, schedule compression/time-cost trade-off, change impacts
- Contract development and management, e.g. common commercial terms, procurement processes, administration, scope control, construction claims
- Performance metrics and project reporting
- Project technology, e.g. project and portfolio management, applications to quantify cause and effect of delays
- Provide technical advisory services related to planning, deploying, and maintaining project management information system (PMIS) technology.
- Develop road mapping and strategic plans to be used by key business leaders to make informed investment decisions.
- Lead third-party PMIS vendor management and establish strategic partnerships
What You Will Need:
- Minimum Years of Experience: 7 to 10+
- Demonstrates proven thorough knowledge of capital intensive industries (e.g., nuclear facilities, power plants, oil refineries, transmission and distribution, and other infrastructure), including a proven understanding of industry-leading practices for improving capital project performance and identifying and implementing process improvements that can help clients achieve business requirements.
- Experience directly leading client relationships and engagement teams
- Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor’s Degree
- Degree(s) Preferred: Master’s Degree (MBA, MPP, MPA, etc.)
- Certification(s) Preferred: Project Management Professional, EIT
What Would Be Nice To Have:
- Experience managing PMIS deployment across multiple industries.
- Experience with federal, state, and local procurement regulations and requirements for technology implementation.
- Engineering or technical expertise in project controls, project management technology, capital infrastructure
- Experience drafting documents, memos, letters, and other formal communications to clients
- The successful candidate must not be subject to employment restrictions from a former employer (such as a non-compete) that would prevent the candidate from performing the job responsibilities as described.
The annual salary range for this position is $144,400.00-$216,600.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
