We're looking for a dedicated professional to join our team as a Claims Specialist to implement a pro-active, specialised approach to the management of whole person impairment (WPI) claims, making a real impact by offering early, timely, and personalised support to stakeholders.
 

This will be a permanent, full time position based in our Adelaide office, with flexibility to work from home once fully trained.
 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and determine permanent impairment claims within set targets and KPIs

  • Liaise with all internal and external stakeholders regularly to progress strategies and actions.
  • Assess aspects of liability and recovery relevant to the legislation or policy, in accordance with EML procedures.
  • Proactively manage rehabilitation providers and approval of rehabilitation plans/wellness plans.
  • Conduct health promotion activities to enhance the injured worker's wellbeing and empower them to participate in their own treatment and recovery

ABOUT YOU

  • High attention to detail with strong mathematical competence for calculations to clearly communicate complex ideas
  • Customer-focused and resilient, with the ability to adapt quickly and overcome challenges faced
  • Basic understanding of common medical terminology or allied health experience
  • Knowledge of the relevant worker's compensation legislation and regulations is desired but not mandatory
