Business Analyst, Lead
Key Role:
Serve as a Business Analyst lead for the People Relations and Compliance team, with a focus in the Core Human Resources process areas across our People Services organization and the company. Provide technology expertise to the direct team and People Services staff, as well as their secondary clients regarding Human Capital Management (HCM) and case management tool operational functionality and future initiatives. Partner closely with stakeholders to ensure HCM and case management are aligned and supporting the processes, optimized for experience, and functionalities are understood and used effectively. Ensure alignment and awareness of future functionality releases. Partner with People Services Technology (PST) and Enterprise Technology Shared Services (ETSS) to uptake additional functionality and maintain awareness of future releases. Apply expertise in process optimization methodology to ensure continuous improvement. Lead requirements gathering, partnering with ETSS on fit gap assessments in systems and testing. Create test cases, provide direction to testers to create test cases, quality control test cases provided by testers, and directly participate in testing. Maintain, with input from key stakeholders across People Services, the PST roadmap to evolve capabilities in alignment with company goals and optimize employee experience. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.
Basic Qualifications:
8+ years of experience as a business analyst
Experience with building requirements and testing within Human Capital Management (HCM) system
Experience with building requirements and testing within Case Management Tool system
Experience with process mapping tools to include documenting system and non-system processes in process flow diagrams
Experience designing and turning system requirements into test plans to include ensuring testing system functionality and business systems to perform roles, including test planning, test case development, and test execution
Experience utilizing process optimization methodologies to improve and streamline
Knowledge of HR processes and technology
Knowledge of conducting process design and re-engineering of processes
Bachelor's degree
Lean Six Sigma Belt Certification or other equivalent process optimization Certification
Additional Qualifications:
Experience with Workday HCM
Experience with process mapping tools such as Visio or iGrafx
Experience with case management tools such as ServiceNow, IBM, Convercent
Knowledge of emerging HCM technology platforms compatible with Workday
Ability to apply situational awareness, rapidly process and assimilate data, and quickly respond to a changing environment
Ability to effectively communicate with multiple stakeholder audiences and deliver client-ready presentations
Ability to understand end-user needs and establish rapport with stakeholders and the user-community
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $96,600.00 to $220,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
