Job description

Thank you for taking the time to read through one of our open roles. We’re looking for a qualified counsellor or psychotherapist to join our Healthy Minds team and we hope this could be a match made in heaven.

Who is Peppy?
Our mission is to lead in healthcare & wellbeing. We do this by supporting the employees of our global clients, including JP Morgan, Disney, Meta, Nvidia, Microsoft, Sony, Clifford Chance, Wells Fargo, Bloomberg, and over 200 others. We serve the forgotten and under-served areas of healthcare, with Menopause, Fertility, Pregnancy and Parenthood, Specialised Men’s Health and Specialised Women’s Health all underpinned by Healthy Minds, Fitness and Nutrition support. Our clients’ employees get expert healthcare support via the Peppy clinical mobile app, with access to our team of specialist practitioners.

Healthy Minds Practitioner responsibilities include:

Message based chat: Engage with users using Peppy tone to build rapport, assess risk and offer support using appropriate evidence based interventions, signpost using Peppy resources and user's company benefits.  Abide by BACP ethical code of practice and BACP online and phone therapy (OPT) competency framework, specifically for asynchronous chat.
Consultations: Offer and engage with users in 40 minute consultations where appropriate. Assess need and offer appropriate psycho-educational resources and signposting options.
Events: Follow briefs, create and present empowering and dynamic group events. Deliver events with humility and authenticity, encouraging connection and involvement from attendees.
Therapeutic Interventions: Engage with users using a range of interventions based in counselling/therapeutic practice.
Emotional Support: Provide a safe, non-judgmental, and empathetic environment for clients to express their emotions, thoughts, and concerns. Support clients in exploring and processing their feelings, facilitating personal growth and self-awareness.
Psychoeducation: Offer psychoeducational materials to clients, providing information and guidance on mental health topics, coping strategies, stress management techniques, and self-care practices.
Teamwork: Work together with the Healthy Minds team and wider Peppy clinical service to provide the best service whilst working within the Peppy values.
Supervision: Adherence at monthly supervision sessions to discuss users and process emotional load as a team.
Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed user records, including personalised notes, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations and Peppy protocols.
