Job description

This is a remote position.

Job Description:

This key position requires the successful candidate to be involved with any and all aspects of the implementation process for new and existing clients.  

 

The successful candidate will have a background in financial technology solutions for post, trade processing, either within a relevant software/service provider or technology department of a financial institution

 Scope: 

  • Primarily focused on Foreign Exchange and Cash Management solutions and services
Working hours : 6PM IST to 3 AM IST

Specific tasks:


·       Ensure on time delivery, client satisfaction while working with the project management team to remain within budgets.

·       Help develop project target milestones and completion dates and stick to an agreed upon schedule.

·       Document client requirements, conversions, upgrades, interfaces, reports, and training. 

·       Facilitate and lead group meetings such as workshops and status meetings. 

·       Work with end-users to define and execute test scenarios and ensure appropriate end user training.

·       Assist in the design of test plans for new or modified programs to ensure their quality, efficiency, integrity and conformance to their specifications.

·       Ensure implementations conform to standards and best practice procedures defined by the group. Maintain appropriate project documentation and timely communication of project status

·       Be responsive to all client problems assigned

·       Collaborate with the client services and development teams on client issues, enhancements, the specification process, and software deliveries. Act as the conduit for transparent communication between the Broadridge client base and the internal teams.

  • Work with our clients to define upstream and downstream data integration mapping, and any associated configuration to support the client’s business. Transform data provided by clients while adhering to standards and best practices
  • Define the conversion strategy and the use runbook to execute it.  Manage mock conversions and final go-live, ensure all issues from the mocks are reported and tracked to completion in good time for subsequent mock runs.  Includes reporting, internally and externally for all mock and go-live activities to ensure good governance.

Qualifications Required:

  • Experience in Financial technology industry
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong analytical, organizational and planning skills
  • Critical thinking and problem solving skills, i.e. the ability to make decisions and assess risk
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Strong ability to map conceptual financial and business elements to practical system capabilities
  • Willingness and ability to travel

 

Technical Skills:

  • General understanding of software application concepts (e.g. architecture, development)
  • Working knowledge of relational databases, Microsoft SQL and XML along with ETL tools with an understanding of data transformation concepts
  • Experience with reporting applications (e.g. Crystal Reports, Business Objects)
