Duties & Responsibilities:    

    Plans, develops, and implements software automation according to test plans and industry standards.

    Participates in planning activities, collaborating and coordinating efforts across development teams.

    Contributes to automated test frameworks.

    Provides suggestions and adjustments as needed to deliver quality software within project scope and timeframes.

    Automates tests for complex software systems.

    Converts functional specifications into technical specifications suitable for code development of software tools to support quality assurance teams.

    Promotes and performs development work consistent with industry standards and best practices.

    Supports unit testing efforts by product teams.

    Works closely with software engineers to ensure and improve the ability to automate tests of software.

    Applies continuous integration and continuous delivery techniques.

    Conducts peer code reviews.

    Supports automation and tool systems once they are up and running.

Required Skills:    

    Experience automating test cases using a variety of industry tools/languages.

    Experience building measurement and continuous improvement into software.

    Ability to satisfy complex business requirements through simple design and execution.

    Possess strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

    Strong communication and influencing skills.

    Experience with load and performance testing.

    Debugging skills, strong knowledge of SQL for analysis and debugging.

    Experience with front-office financial services operations a plus.

    Experience with continuous deployment/integration a plus.

    Ability to work independently.

Qualifications:    

Education:    Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience required.

Experience:    2 – 4 years of professional experience, including 2+ automating functional tests for software written using .Net stack - C#, JS, ASP.NET MVC, SQL Server Competency in SQL – queries and stored procedures Experience with SQL Server a plus.

The base pay for this role is $120,000; base pay may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and location. Certain positions may also be eligible for a performance-based incentive as part of total compensation.
