Job Summary

At Stewart Title Guaranty Company, we empower Underwriters to make impactful decisions in a learning and approachable culture. Join our Southwest Region team known for practical, customized solutions and quick risk assessment. In this role, you'll develop customer relationships, collaborate with a diverse team, and enjoy a work-life balance while addressing various title issues daily. This position offers flexibility as remote or hybrid. Remember, when applying, submitting a cover letter is highly preferred.

Job Responsibilities

  • Analyzes data relevant to title insurance underwriting risk, including financial conditions of relevant parties, past claims, Stewart’s underwriting guidelines, experience among various factors
  • Regarded as a technical expert within discipline with experience in presenting and generating resources on real estate and/or title insurance topics
  • Anticipates business and regulatory challenges to proactively assess impact to work performed
  • Develops creative solutions through practical and innovative thinking
  • Communicates complex ideas across functions and levels

Education

  • Juris Doctorate required

Experience

  • Typically requires 10+ years of related multi-state work experience
