We are looking for a Sales Manager to oversee one of our New Business Acquisition teams at Service Fusion.

Founded in 2014, Service Fusion, now an EverCommerce company, serves over 7,000 field service contractors in over 20 residential and commercial service verticals with mission-critical business management software. While the largest segments of the customer base are HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair contractors, our target customer is “anyone in a truck who comes to your home or business to perform a service.” Service Fusion allows such contractors to operate their business from anywhere with enterprise-level features at a small business price.

EverCommerce is bringing together best-of-breed commerce solutions in the service sector, forming one service commerce platform that improves go-to-market strategy for technology companies and simplifies the software-buying process for business owners. The Sales Manager leads a team of six to eight individual sales professionals and ensures that each team member’s activity, development, and revenue goals are planned and met on a weekly and monthly basis. The Sales Manager ultimately drives sales by focusing the team on pipeline and by developing the strategic selling skills of the team.

Responsibilities:

  • Achieve overall team sales goals.
  • Coach and motivate individual team members.
  • Develop team members for current and future opportunities.
  • Hire and develop new team members for future growth.
  • Analyze sales forecasts, pipelines, and data.
  • Collaborate with other Service Fusion departments and sales teams to enrich business.
  • Maintain the proper product attach ratio’s (e.g. FusionPay, Flat Rate, emerging products, etc.)
  • Utilize Salesforce.com and sales methodology.
  • Act as a role model and leader within the sales organization, promoting a can-do culture and positive environment, advising reps on accounts, answering questions, and providing assistance when necessary.
  • Assist with sales to prospective clients regarding Service Fusion’s products and services and assist with demos when necessary.

Skills and Experience needed for success in this role:

  • A bachelor’s degree.
  • Five years of sales experience, with a minimum of two years of first-line sales management experience.
  • Field Service Industry is preferred.
  • Proven experience in managing within a velocity sales environment, achieving revenue goals, and managing sales strategies.
  • A strong track record of sales management in both sales target attainment and people/team development.
  • Strong, high-level relationship skills.
  • Demonstrated success in designing and implementing tactical sales initiatives through data and empirical analysis.
  • The ability to thrive in a team selling environment.
  • Coaching and mentoring skills.
  • The ability to grasp and absorb new concepts quickly (such as rapid advancements in the business technology industry).
  • Strong prospecting, needs analysis, negotiating, and closing skills.

Where: This is a remote position however, candidates located near our Dallas TX or Binghamton NY office are preferred.
 

The EverCommerce team is distributed globally, with teams in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Jordan, New Zealand, and Australia. With a widely distributed team, we are used to working remotely across different time zones. This role can be based anywhere in the United States or Canada – if you’re close to one of our offices, we can set you up in-office or you can work 100% remotely. Please note that you must be eligible to work without sponsorship to qualify for this position, and this role may require travel to our Corporate Headquarters in Denver, Colorado, or to other office locations around North America.

Compensation: EverCommerce is committed to equal pay and transparency. The annual on-target earnings for this position is $165,000 USD per year. Please note that the salary range information provided is a general guideline and combines all of the distinct labor markets within the US. EverCommerce considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, candidate’s work location, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, external market data, as well as, market and business considerations when making compensation decisions.
