Job Summary
The Marketing Coordinator is an administrative marketing role focused on supporting automotive marketing campaigns, coordinating marketing requests for dealer state associations, and assisting with project/task management. The Marketing Coordinator provides cross-segment project management support to Line of Business marketing managers to ensure that deadlines are met and marketing plans are efficiently executed. This role will work primarily with the Auto Line of Business Marketing team, Marketing Services, Assurant Dealer Services which is our direct-to-dealer business, and our Strategic Account segment (Public companies and Agent team).
** This is a Hybrid work location, working remotely from a home office but required to come into the corporate office occasionally to meet business needs **
Job Responsibilities
- Assist the line of business marketing team with their day-to-day marketing tasks
- Support the team with tasks that are part of developing marketing collateral for a variety of client-facing channels. The types of collateral the team works on includes brochures, store signage, digital ads, training materials, presentations, sales tools, and job aids. The coordinator may assist with proofreading, submitting requests to the digital marketing and creative services teams, submitting legal reviews, reminding task owners of deadlines, etc.
- Liaison for Assurant Dealer Services with the various national, state, and local dealer associations. Coordinating advertising efforts, managing sponsorship fees, endorsement fees, yearly dues, convention attendance coordination, and other tasks associated with these associations
- Coordinate with various management team members on logistics, marketing, and promotional aspects for both internal and external sales contests and incentive trips (Assurant VSC Trip, etc.)
- Assist in the development and maintenance of departmental standard operating procedures
- Submit creative requests by providing a creative brief and timeline through the Robohead tool
- Submit marketing collateral, training materials, websites, and other marketing assets through legal and compliance review process
- Apply legal and compliance feedback to materials accurately
- Provide support to senior marketing roles
- Utilize Monday.com to keep track of open items
- Assist team in organizing electronic files in our SharePoint
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Journalism, Liberal Arts, or English
- 3+ years of relevant work experience with proven success
- Proficiency in using tools and methods to keep track of tasks and deadlines
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
- Excellent command of English language
- Excellent writing and editing skills; can make text short and friendly without sacrificing grammar and quality
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
- Pro-active, self-motivated, and resourceful
- Able to learn quickly
- Impeccable attention to detail
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (especially PowerPoint, Word, Excel) and proficient in Adobe Acrobat
- Able to work under pressure
- Able to work within tight timelines
- Experience supporting senior marketing professionals and clients/partners
- Experience working in cross-functional, matrix organizations
- Comfortable working independently as well as in a team setting
- Curiosity and desire to learn
Preferred Skills
- 1+ years of experience in insurance and/or financial service
- Experience in automotive industry
- Experience executing marketing and/or communication plans
- Basic brand management skills

Pay Range:
$47,100.00 - $77,700.00
Any posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including candidate background, experience and work location, while also allowing for salary growth within the position.
