Job Description

Associate Director, Oncology Marketing Business Excellence is an impactful role within the Customer Engagement and Marketing Operations (CEMO) organization that will be uniquely positioned to lead end-to-end business process transformation to support the future US Oncology portfolio.

This leader will be responsible for driving efforts to improve marketing process efficiency, speed to market, and critical enterprise-wide business transformation initiatives that will shape the future of operational efficiency in US Oncology. This business partner will engage cross-functionally in US Oncology with brand marketing, alliance partners, and agile digital teams and will also collaborate closely across our Company's enterprise, including with Strategy & Commercial Operations (S&CO), to advance standardized content development, and review model solutions.

Leading and inspiring with a sense of authority when engaging across leadership levels is essential for this role and is ideal for someone who embraces agility and has a structured approach to navigating white space.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead the candidacy evaluation, execution, and future optimization of the Speed at Launch initiative in US Oncology.

  • Partner across US Oncology, S&CO, and the broader enterprise to ensure business transformation initiatives support the evolving and future business needs in US Oncology marketing.

  • Identify continuous improvement projects that address process inefficiencies within US Oncology marketing and lead execution with a future-focused mindset.

  • Establish an operational framework for alliance partnerships and lead business process development to support the unique needs of US Oncology collaborations.

  • Identify opportunities and execute solutions that support the evolution of the US Oncology review board framework.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree.

  • Minimum of 5 years of commercial pharmaceutical experience with a deep understanding of promotional content development and approval process.

  • Demonstrated ability leading strategic decision making, thinking critically, and influencing change with a strong vision for the future.

  • Experience developing new processes and assessing existing processes to identify opportunities for improvement that deliver meaningful business impact.

  • Skilled at driving and managing change within the organization to ensure sustainable change management for business transformation, as well as key organizational initiatives that impact ways of working.

  • Strong project skills including, ability to coordinate and balance multiple projects, across many stakeholders with a deadline-driven focus.

  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, including the ability to present complex data and process schemas clearly to executive-level audiences.

  • Experience working with and managing external partners to execute high priority initiatives.

  • Embraces non-traditional approaches and challenges the status quo to drive continuous improvement.

  • Strong balance of strategic thinking and execution.

  • Product launch and label update experience.

  • Understanding of the US Market and Oncology landscape.

  • Experience with agile methodology and practices.

  • Strong emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills.

The position is hybrid (combination of in-office at Upper Gwynedd and work from home ability) and will report to the Director of Oncology Marketing Business Excellence.
