The Role
Genmab is seeking a seasoned leader to Lead our Business Information Services as the Director of Data Stewardship and Data Strategy. This crucial position involves guiding Data policies and actions across the US Markets including data acquisition, data quality, documentation, rules applications and enforcing policies and procedures for data usage/access, ensuring privacy adherence, and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements. The role will work very closely with our internal IT functions and partners on the architecture and requirements to ensure an appropriate access model for all internal customers based on the role. The role will focus on how Genmab US Markets sets policies and procedures regarding all structured and unstructured data that can be used by all internal consumers/users. Responsibilities
Develop and execute a strategic vision for leveraging data management methodologies to streamline and enhance the efficiency of US Markets data consumers.
Lead a team of colleagues spanning Master Data Management and Data Flow.
Collaborate closely with BIS and CE&I Leadership alongside department heads and cross-functional teams to align Data Management practices
Oversee the design and implementation of advanced storage, transformation, and purchasing strategy ensuring outcomes are of high quality and actionable.
Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in data stewardship, integrating cutting-edge technologies and techniques into our operational processes.
Communicate complex data stewardship concepts and project outcomes to a variety of stakeholders, both technical and non-technical.
Ensure a comprehensive mapping of all US Markets data assets are mapped, validated, formatted, tracked, and contracted with a unified approach.
Leads the efforts to procure data on behalf of Genmab US Markets to ensure the elimination of duplication, value, and access to appropriate internal stakeholders. This function will work with all leaders in the organization who are seeking unique assets or expert guidance on where and how to acquire necessary data for business decisions and actions. This will be a leadership function that partners closely with Finance, IT, Data Science, Marketing, Sales, Legal, Procurement, Medical and Data Consumer roles.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree; Advanced degree a plus
12+ years of professional experience in data management/operations experience preferably within oncology/hematology, and/or management
5+ years of Direct Leadership experience in a team
Experience in cross-functional collaboration and managing complex data integrations and infrastructure expansions or builds.
Strong Project Management Experience and Pharmaceutical Operational experience with Data Warehousing, Flow and Structure
Where you'll work: We have a hybrid model that requires a weekly onsite presence in Princeton, NJ.
For US based candidates, the proposed salary band for this position is as follows:
$176,250.00---$293,750.00
The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation, such as bonuses.
