As the IT Business Partner, you will serve as a trusted adviser, leading strategic and operational interactions with business stakeholders to ensure the delivery of technology services that align with our objectives.

Scope & Overall Purpose of the Job:
In this pivotal role, you will bridge the gap between IT and the business, guiding the development of business roadmaps and providing insights on technology solutions. You will collaborate closely with project teams, applications, service, and architecture teams to execute business initiatives effectively. Your focus will be on supporting TGE’s Operations Non-Parcel business, which includes Palletised Express, TAS, Intermodal, and Specialised services.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary IT contact for the Business Function, cultivating strong relationships with senior business stakeholders.
- Proactively shape the future of business processes, technology strategy, and technology investments.
- Optimize the use of existing technology platforms to enhance operational performance.
- Stay abreast of innovative technology developments to identify opportunities for improved productivity and competitive advantage.
- Drive operational excellence across project and service delivery to meet business objectives.
- Maximize business value and ROI from the delivery of IT solutions in collaboration with key stakeholders.
- Support IT projects throughout their lifecycle, ensuring business objectives and benefits are achieved.
- Continuously seek ways to enhance IT service delivery, reduce costs, and improve business outcomes.
- Lead a team of IT specialists to shape and scope IT demand for the Business Function, facilitating project idea and business case development as needed.
- Plan and communicate the demand for the Business Function, including proposed technology investments and skill set requirements.
- Manage governance forums to update the Business Function on IT performance, projects, and service outcomes.

Desirable Qualifications & Experience:
- At least 15 years of relevant global experience, including 6-8 years in a business partnering or business-facing IT role.
- Proven experience managing projects, programs, PMO, planning, and portfolio management in a complex IT environment.
- Strong relationship management track record.
- Experience in building and leading high-performing teams.
- Resilient in the face of change and capable of leading teams through a dynamic environment.
- Experience in large global organizations utilizing both in-sourced and out-sourced IT service providers.
- Strong communication and influencing skills.
- Demonstrable experience in transport and logistics operations technology.
