Your Mission

Under your guidance, the team will take on the critical mission of supporting and enhancing our Restaurant Point-of-Sale product, helping businesses worldwide streamline their operations. You foster and strengthen a healthy, highly collaborative, and continuously learning culture across the teams.

What you’ll be responsible for
  • Be the trusted lead and partner of a development team of 5-6 members, guiding, motivating, and developing your team to solve complex business problems.
  • Enhance team growth through effective mentoring, coaching, and constructive feedback, while fostering a mutually supportive, inclusive, and collaborative environment.
  • You model lead-by-example excellence, provide high-quality code reviews and design feedback, and work to drive technical alignment in challenging areas.
  • Lead the way to develop performant, scalable, and maintainable applications, ensuring high technical quality and operational excellence in your area.
  • Collaborate closely with other teams, architects, product managers, and engineering leaders to align approaches and priorities.
  • Continuously improve our software delivery processes and practices, staying updated with industry trends to influence our strategic direction and foster innovation.
  • Provide technical and process guidance to your team, and participate in recruiting top talent for the organization.
What you’ll be bringing to the team
  • Proven experience leading a team of developers through successful software projects
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to convey technical information to a wide variety of audiences.
  • Solid understanding of development processes, testing, and CI/CD best practices.
  • Experience delivering horizontally scalable applications and microservices.
  • Passion for learning new things and desire to improve continuously.
  • Solution-oriented and constructive mindset and ability to manage ambiguity.
  • If you have a Frontend Development background:
    • Advanced skills in Typescript, React
    • Full-stack web development familiarity is a strong plus.
  • If you have a Backend Development background:
    • Advanced skills in Java: Spring Framework
  • If you have a Mobile Development background:
    • Advanced skills in Objective-c, Swift
Even better if you have hands-on experience with (but not necessary):
  • Interest in or experience with POS or eCommerce systems
  • Experience building scalable SaaS solutions
  • Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases
  • Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent
