Job description

Location: Fully-Remote (Work from Home), 9 AM - 5 PM CST

We are looking for an experienced E-commerce Marketing Strategist to lead efforts in optimizing an e-commerce site and driving profitability. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in scaling an e-commerce platform and has since transitioned into a strategic role focused on high-level decision-making. This role centers on developing data-driven strategies to improve existing assets and enhance site performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data-Driven Strategy Development: Analyze data from marketing campaigns and site performance to create strategies that enhance traffic, engagement, and conversions.

  • Product & SEO Optimization: Oversee product listings on WooCommerce, refining SEO and product presentation based on performance insights to improve visibility and engagement.

  • Ad Strategy & Optimization: Guide and optimize Google and Facebook Ads campaigns to drive targeted traffic, ensuring high ROI and alignment with broader e-commerce goals.

  • Social Media Oversight: Manage strategy for Meta social media presence, utilizing existing assets to drive engagement and strengthen community interactions.

  • Performance Tracking & Reporting: Regularly assess campaign effectiveness, using data to adjust strategies, identify growth opportunities, and report on key metrics.

Must-Haves:

  • Strategic E-commerce Experience: Extensive experience managing and optimizing e-commerce sites, preferably WooCommerce, with a focus on strategy over execution.

  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Proven ability to analyze data and apply insights to enhance marketing strategies and site performance.

  • Google & Facebook Ads Knowledge: Skilled in developing and managing ad strategies for Google and Facebook, with a track record of driving high-quality traffic and optimizing for ROI.

  • SEO Knowledge: Solid understanding of e-commerce SEO best practices, focusing on data-informed adjustments for product listings and site optimization.

  • Growth-Oriented Mindset: A proactive approach to continuous improvement, using data to generate new ideas and adapt strategies for growth.

  • High Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain a strong focus on accuracy and professionalism in all strategic adjustments.

  • Fluent English: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to clearly convey strategy and performance insights.
