Job Summary

This role is responsible for managing accounts payable and receivable, establishing company accounts, and implementing process improvements to streamline financial practices. This individual will supervise and mentor junior finance staff, foster financial literacy across departments, and deliver critical reporting to support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Payable & Receivable Oversight: Ensure efficient, compliant processes for accounts payable, accounts receivable, accurate invoicing, and timely collections.

Account Setup and Management: Set up and manage company accounts, ensuring adherence to company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.

Process Improvement: Identify and implement process enhancements to increase accuracy and efficiency in financial operations.

Supervise and Mentor Team: Provide guidance, training, and development opportunities for junior finance staff, fostering a knowledgeable and collaborative team environment.

Reporting and Analysis: Prepare comprehensive financial summaries and reports for management, supporting informed decision-making.

Forecasting and Tracking: Build and maintain a 36-month rolling forecast and keep the financial tracker updated.

Strategic Financial Input: Provide financial insights and recommendations to the leadership team, supporting strategic goals.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Client Delivery and other departments to coordinate on financial matters such as invoicing, expenses, and departmental financial queries.

Supplier Management: Maintain relationships with suppliers, ensure timely payment processing, negotiate favourable credit terms, and address complex inquiries.

External Accounting Coordination: Work with external accountants on tax filings, compliance reporting, and resolving discrepancies across three jurisdictions.

Qualifications:

· Qualified Accountant (CPA, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).

· Extensive Financial Operations Experience: Expertise in accounts payable and receivable management, regulatory compliance, and financial processes.

· Analytical and Forecasting Skills: Proficiency in financial forecasting, reporting, and data analysis for strategic decision support.

· Leadership and Communication: Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring and training finance staff and cross-functional teams.

· Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of accounting software and financial reporting tools.
