Job Overview: 

We’re seeking an Instructional Designer with a flair for transforming learning into exhilarating, memorable, and impactful experiences. This role is ideal for someone who believes training should be engaging, innovative, and interactive. As the mastermind behind our customer service training and leadership development programs, you'll add value by creating programs that enhance our employees’ capabilities and prepare them for the important work they do. You’ll also have the opportunity to create training for other departments and collaborate with leaders across functions as we grow. 

Responsibilities: 

Design engaging customer service training that’s informative, transformative, and memorable. 

Develop leadership programs that turn managers into leaders, mentors, and agents of change within the organization. 

Experiment with various learning modalities—e-learning, role-playing, gamification—the more innovative, the better! 

Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify training needs and create impactful content that empowers our employees to excel. 

Align training initiatives with our bold business objectives and the adventurous spirit of Tactacam. 

Apply cutting-edge instructional design principles and adult learning theories to craft memorable and meaningful learning experiences. 

Create engaging materials, including interactive modules, immersive videos, activities, and other media to enhance the learning experience. 

Use feedback loops and performance metrics to gauge the effectiveness of training programs, iterating and enhancing content to keep it fresh and impactful. 

Manage multiple projects, ensuring smooth execution and on-time delivery while effectively managing stakeholder expectations and timelines. 

 

Qualifications

Requirements: 

Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, HR, or a related field. Master’s degree or certifications in learning technologies is a plus.

3+ years of instructional design experience, with direct experience building training programs for customer-facing roles. 

Proven experience in designing effective and enjoyable customer service and leadership training. 

Deep understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning. Proficiency with e-learning tools, such as Absorb LMS and Iorad. 

Exceptional project management skills. 

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to make complex ideas simple. 

A collaborative team player who can also lead when necessary. 

Innovative thinker who challenges the status quo. 

Detail-oriented with a passion for turning the ordinary into the extraordinary. Familiarity with LMS platforms and a strong interest in learning new technologies. Bonus: Experience with multimedia tools like Adobe Creative Suite.
