Position Highlights:
As an IS Solutions Leader in Technology Operations, you will drive solutions design and adoption for our Hybrid Cloud Environment. This will include Cloud IaaS & PaaS as well as our own on-premise Data Center IT infrastructure solutions. Your broad scope of responsibilities will include:
- Create or enhance enterprise cloud governance programs
- Develop enterprise automation capabilities
- Define, gather, track, and measure enterprise KPIs
- Ensuring continuous improvement in value optimization, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and cloud development practices
- Define and create technical Proof of Concepts (POCs) for tools and frameworks needed for cloud adoption
- Create or enhance infrastructure architectures / solution designs.
- Drive out technical decisions through engagement & collaboration with a wide range of stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand and shape enterprise practices through prior cloud experiences
- Build relationships and work with stakeholders to explore innovative technologies and solutions to identify the right toolset and framework for various enterprise delivery streams.
- Understand upcoming technologies in the IaC and cloud spaces to scale, mature, and progress the organization’s delivery.
- Establish DevOps/IaC practices and create roadmaps to solidify enterprise cloud practices.
- Collaborate with senior technical resources to enhance delivery frameworks.
- Perform peer code reviews.
- Gather business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
- Coach and mentor technical specialists to mature automation, cloud adoption and technical skills.
- Assess the business and technical impact of proposed changes with an enterprise view.
- Present complex concepts and ideas clearly and concisely at all organizational levels, leading discussions and influencing outcomes.
- Ensure continuous improvement in value optimization, IT infrastructure, and development practices.
Position Requirements:
- Hands-on experience with developing frameworks/solutions for IaC and cloud deployments.
- Experience in setting up these practices in an enterprise using agile and waterfall methodologies.
- Experience in running POCs with multiple tools, using a standardized framework to identify the appropriate toolset.
- Experience in setting up continuous integration/continuous delivery with test automation.
- Support delivery streams with maturity assessments and execution of improvement plans.
- Share best practices across cross-functional teams, releases, and projects.
- Identify areas for improvement in current delivery frameworks and aid with remediation.
- Excellent planning, communication and facilitation skills.
- Undergraduate degree in a related field.
- Several years of progressive technology and delivery experience.

Work arrangements defined:
- Resident – you will work at your primary in-office headquarters on all scheduled work days.
- Hybrid 8 – you will work a minimum of 8 days in a 4-week period at your primary office headquarters (typically 2 days per week). The remaining days will be remote within British Columbia.
- Hybrid 10 – you will work a minimum of 10 days in a 4-week period at your primary office headquarters (typically one week in/one week out or up to 3 days per week). The remaining days will be remote within British Columbia.
- Mobile – you will work a significant amount of time in the field, in addition to working from an office and optionally working remotely within British Columbia.
