Workday Associate Consultant

Strada partners with clients to enable organizational transformation through the deployment of Workday, a next generation Software as a Service (SaaS)-based solution. As a Workday Associate Consultant, you will collaborate with customers to transform their workforce experience, improve business processes to meet the needs of a changing world, and implement new technology that empowers organizations to make sustainable decisions. Workday Associate Consultants play an integral role by working with multiple clients across a wide spectrum of industries and locations to address business challenges and needs while also deploying or providing ongoing Workday support. The Role

  • Consulting as a subject matter expert in areas including Financials, Procurement, or Financial Planning

  • Partnering with clients to gather design requirements and understand their strategic vision

  • Leveraging problem solving skills to manage issues and risks

  • Testing and troubleshooting common business scenarios and requirements to ensure the Workday solution meets client needs

  • Collaborating with other teams within the organization to improve business processes and solve cross functional issues

  • Monitoring progress of tasks against a project plan and communicating status updates on key deliverables

  • Developing communications and training to drive organizational adoption of Workday

  • Participating in internal Strada initiatives to support innovation and enable continuous career growth

 

The Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science or related field

  • 1 to 2 years previous experience implementing or supporting Workday Financials

  • Professional experience with web-based applications; specifically in the HRIS and/or Financials systems space

  • Prefer experience in an escalated support tier environment for an application or managed service

  • A highly committed individual with a background in problem solving, operations environment

  • Passion for working with people and systems, and a strong interest in helping customers success

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Clear and articulate oral and written communication skills

  • Ability to work and learn independently as well as on a team

  • Willingness to learn new tools, technologies, and methodologies

  • Ability to work under pressure and strict deadlines

  • Accept and adapt to change, and understand that change is constant and necessary to consistently excel

  • Desire to grow your career as a consultant

  • Experience with MS Office Suite programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)

  • This role does not support sponsorship

  • Workday Financials certification is strongly preferred

  • Up to 20% travel

  • Workday Certification, successful continuation of appropriate Workday Certification(s) is a requirement of the role
