The Job:  

As a Senior Analyst Financial Planning and Analysis, you’ll be part of our Global Operations Finance team working as a remote employee.    You’ll get to:  

  • Support the manufacturing plants and Finance teams for the US POD2 America’s region.
  • Support the budgeting, forecasting, and monthly close processes for US POD2 manufacturing plants.
  • Support the manufacturing finance activities at the local plant level when needed.
  • Partner with the organization to support annual productivity and cost reduction initiatives.
  • Partnering with the organization to improve forecast accuracy and standardized reporting.
  • Identify and develop reporting tools and dashboarding to manage the business, provide visibility into key metrics and drive operating performance.

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Accounting or Finance.
  • 3+ plus years of prior related experience.
  • Working knowledge of ERP and Financial reporting systems such as SAP, Hyperion, Essbase.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills particularly in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Prior experience with reporting from a large ERP system.
  • Strong operations finance experience in a dynamic, large company environment (manufacturing environment with multiple locations).
  • Strong financial, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a matrix environment and build relationships with a variety of functions.
  • Effective communication & presentation skills, experience presenting to senior leadership.
  • Demonstrated success in process improvement initiatives, including problem identification & resolution.
  • Ability to prioritize and independently manage multiple concurrent tasks in a dynamic and fast paced setting. 
  • High level of energy and professionalism and strong attention to detail.
  • Act with the highest level of integrity and can clearly demonstrate and align to SBD’s core values.

The base pay range for this position in Maryland is $74,000 - $133,000 per year. Pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on payment may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
