JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
Are you ready to build a strong foundation for your career in real estate? The Greystar Summer Internship Program offers a 10-week immersive experience where you’ll develop new skills and gain hands-on experience with the leading multifamily real estate developer, investor, owner, and operator.
As a Greystar intern, you’ll be exposed to all facets of our business, including development & construction, investment management, property management, and enterprise services. Your journey will be enriched through daily work experiences, intern events, and workshops including:

JOB DESCRIPTION
This internship will sit on our National Property Transitions team. Some of the main responsibilities will be:
Organizational Responsibilities:
Follows established policies and procedures by monitoring and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, organizational standards, and operational processes related to area(s) of responsibility and reporting violations or infractions to appropriate individual(s).
Practices proper safety techniques in accordance with Company, property, and departmental policies, procedures, and standards by immediately reporting any mechanical or electrical equipment malfunctions, employee/visitor/resident injuries or accidents, or other safety issues to appropriate individual(s).
Identifies areas for improvement and offers suggestions to improve efficiency and productivity.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Currently enrolled in a 2 or 4 year undergraduate college or university degree program.
Working towards a degree in (depending on line of business hired to support): Real Estate, Technology, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Marketing, or Communications.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively to prepare and explain data to team members.
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office.
The compensation range for this position is $20 per hour.
This internship can be remote, with the option for a hybrid schedule if you are located near one of our office locations listed below. We encourage local interns to take advantage of this flexibility and engage in person as needed.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Compensation is based on geographic location and individual pay decisions will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
Onsite Property Positions: In addition to the base salary, may be eligible for a discretionary weekly, monthly and/or quarterly bonus based on budget.
