POSITION SUMMARY
The Technical Marketing Content Specialist works closely with a leading tech client. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in marketing for B2B and B2C technology products and solutions, with a strong preference for experience in cutting-edge industries such as AI, IoT (Internet of Things), cloud computing, and semiconductors. In this role, you will be responsible for translating highly technical information into compelling, digestible content across multiple social and digital platforms, ensuring our client’s messaging resonates with both technical and non-technical audiences. You’ll work with cross-functional teams, including production, creative, social and community management, to create content that drives engagement, educates customers, and supports the marketing goals of our client.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
· Experience: 3+ years of experience in content marketing or technical writing, with a proven ability to translate complex technical information into clear, engaging content.
· Technical Knowledge: Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with B2C and B2B technology and services, specifically within AI, IoT, cloud computing, and semiconductors.
· B2B and B2C Experience: Experience creating content for both B2B and B2C tech audiences, with a deep understanding of the different approaches needed for each.
· Writing and Editing Skills: Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills with a strong portfolio and/or work samples that may includes white papers, case studies, blog posts, social and/or digital content.
· Collaboration Skills: Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with both internal teams and clients.
· Education: bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, computer science, or a related field preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience in B2B/B2C tech marketing for large clients or within an agency setting. \
· Familiarity with technical product lifecycles, particularly in industries like AI, IoT, or cloud computing.
· Experience working in fast-paced agency environments, managing multiple projects simultaneously.

JOB DUTIES
· Technical Translation: Translate complex technical material, concepts, and/or product and service overviews, provided by our client and related to their products and services, into easy-to-understand content for B2B and B2C audiences, making sure that messaging is tailored appropriately for each group.
· Content Creation: Work closely with our strategists, copywriters, creative and production teams to develop high-quality social and digital content such as white papers, case studies, blog posts, infographics, video scripts, on-graphic and social post copy that clearly communicate the value and technical details of the client’s products and solutions.
· Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal teams, other agency partners, and client stakeholders to gather product insights and align content with client goals.
· Content Optimization: Apply social and digital best practices (organic, paid, SEO, etc.) to ensure all content is optimized and aligned with the latest trends in digital marketing and social formats/platforms.
· Content Strategy Support: Assist in developing content strategies that align with the client’s business goals and marketing objectives, contributing ideas for new formats and approaches to drive engagement.
· Market Research: Stay up to date with industry trends, new technologies, and competitors’ content to maintain a competitive edge in messaging.
· Content Distribution Support: Collaborate with internal social teams, eternal agency partners, and client stakeholders to ensure content is strategically distributed across the client’s owned and earned channels.
