The Head of Sales for We Insure is a key leadership position that will be responsible for the sales strategy and growth for the organization.  They will be responsible for training and development of Insurance Producers in writing personal lines and commercial policies and increasing new business. They execute strategy focused on setting and achieving sales targets, inspiring growth and establishing procedures to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction.  Responsibility will span across the We Insure organization including both direct sales team and Franchise agencies across the US.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Provide strong leadership and direction to the sales team, fostering a high-performance culture that motivates and inspires producers while nurturing a supportive and positive team environment.

  • Formulate and execute effective sales strategies to achieve company goals, including market penetration, revenue growth, and customer retention.

  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities for business growth, including new market opportunities, product development, and strategic partnerships.

  • Collaborate with franchise agencies to support their sales efforts, provide necessary resources, and ensure alignment with company objectives.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive onboarding and training programs to ensure new producers are well-equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to succeed.

  • Develop and implement clear performance expectations and metrics, regularly monitor and evaluate producer performance, and implement corrective actions when necessary.

  • Ensure all sales activities comply with industry regulations and company standards.

  • Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitive analysis to senior management.

  • Stay informed and communicate with sales team on carrier appetites and carrier updates

  • Quote and bind policies

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Proven ability to grow a team and maintain a profitable book of business

  • Motivator, team builder, sales professional

  • Exceptional communication, and listening skills 

  • Ability to inspire, manage, take initiative, multitask 

  • Analyze and present data to aid in making business decisions

  • Must have proven reliability and dependability

Education and/or Experience:

  • Personal Lines insurance license required

  • 10 + years sales experience

  • 5 + years experience leading a sales function within the P&C Industry

  • Built or lead a P&C insurance agency or team of producers

  • Experience working in various raters and agency management systems – Experience in Applied Epic preferred

  • Experience working in Word, Excel, and SharePoint

  • Bachelors Degree required or equivalent years of service experience met

Work Environment:

  • This job operates in a hybrid office environment.

  • This job requires 50% travel
