JOB DESCRIPTION:

This posting is for the Spring 2025 semester. Interns will assist research coordinators and evaluation scientists in data collection and analysis on grants related to community mental health.

This is an unpaid internship.

Scheduling requirements:

This internship requires a minimum of 10 hours per week. Hours are flexible between 8 AM and 5 PM, Monday-Friday. Weekend or night hours are available at the supervisor's discretion.

Internship Description:

  • Supervised and trained by an Evaluation Scientist
  • Conduct structured interviews with individuals who are receiving mental/behavioral health services
  • Enter, clean, and manage client data
  • Assist with quantitative and qualitative analysis
  • Assist with writing IRB amendments
  • Assist with creating reports and power points for key stakeholders
  • Conduct lit reviews

Qualifications:

  • Working on a bachelor’s degree in public health, social sciences, or related field
  • Previous coursework in statistics and research/evaluation methods
  • History of working independently and managing multiple priorities
  • Ability to work with data; detail-oriented
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able to commit to at least 8 - 10 hours per week
